Job Title: Computer Science Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Computer Teacher to educate students from Class 6 to 10 on computer science concepts, coding, and digital literacy. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in computer applications, programming, and cybersecurity, with the ability to simplify complex topics for young learners.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans based on the school curriculum.
• Teach fundamental computer skills, coding, and digital literacy to students.
• Cover topics such as MS Office, Internet & Email, Scratch, Python, HTML, AI basics, and Cybersecurity.
• Conduct practical sessions to enhance hands-on learning experiences.
• Evaluate and assess students through assignments, projects, and exams.
• Encourage students to participate in coding competitions and IT-related activities.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest educational technology trends and integrate them into teaching.
• Ensure safe and responsible use of technology in the classroom.
• Provide extra academic support to students when needed.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school administration for academic planning.

Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• B.Ed. or teaching certification (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of programming languages (Python, Java, HTML, etc.).
• Experience with educational technology tools and online learning platforms.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
• Prior experience in teaching school students is an advantage.

Preferred Skills (Optional):
• Knowledge of AI, Robotics, and Cloud Computing.
• Experience in game-based learning and coding bootcamps.
