Job Summary:

MNC JOBS INFO is actively seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver/Nanny to provide dedicated support and supervision for children and/or elderly family members in a private household setting. This role involves maintaining a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment while ensuring the individuals well-being and comfort at all times. LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment) support is available for eligible international candidates who are seeking employment opportunities in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive care, supervision, and companionship to children or elderly family members.

• Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary requirements.

• Assist with daily personal hygiene routines, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.

• Monitor health conditions and administer medication as prescribed.

• Organize indoor and outdoor recreational and educational activities.

• Maintain cleanliness in living and play areas; perform light housekeeping and laundry duties.

• Ensure a safe environment by adhering to household safety protocols.

• Report any changes in behavior or health condition to family members promptly.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Post-secondary education in caregiving, healthcare, or child development is a plus).

• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly preferred.

• Clear criminal background check and vulnerable sector screening.

• Ability to speak, read, and write in English fluently.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Demonstrated patience, empathy, and professionalism.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a caregiver or nanny role (formal or informal).

• Experience in working with children, seniors, or individuals with special needs is considered an asset.

Working Hours:

• Full-time position: 30 to 40 hours per week

• Flexibility in scheduling is required, including evenings and occasional weekends, depending on family needs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Deep understanding of caregiving best practices and child/elderly care principles.

• Ability to multitask and adapt to different household environments.

• Physically fit to perform caregiving duties, including lifting and assisting with mobility.

• Cultural sensitivity and respect for family privacy and customs.
