Progressive Technology is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Control Engineer to join our Production & Manufacturing team. As a Quality Control Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes throughout production, implementing testing protocols, and identifying areas for improvement. Quality Assurance Oversight: Lead and manage quality control efforts across the production line to ensure that all products meet the required standards.
Inspection & Testing: Develop and implement inspection criteria and test plans to assess product quality, including physical, chemical, and functional testing.
Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and resolve quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with production teams to develop corrective actions.
Process Optimization: Work closely with the production team to identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes to optimize quality, cost-efficiency, and productivity.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, testing results, and non-conformance reports. Prepare comprehensive quality reports for management and customers.
Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with relevant regulatory and industry standards.
Training & Support: Provide training and support to production staff on quality control processes and best practices.
Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Control, or a related field.
Certifications: Certification in Quality Control (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) is preferred.
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of quality control techniques, inspection methods, and tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, coordinate measuring machines).
Software Proficiency: Experience with quality management software and tools, including MS Office Suite and quality tracking software.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems and implement effective solutions.
Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure all quality standards are met and issues are identified before products reach customers.
A minimum of 3 years of experience working in quality control within a manufacturing or production environment.
Experience with statistical process control (SPC), inspection techniques, and quality auditing is highly preferred.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
Full-time position, Monday to Friday, with flexible working hours based on project needs. Occasional overtime may be required to meet production deadlines.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively report findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
