Job Summary:

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented AWS Cloud Support Engineer at the entry level to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tier 1 and tier 2 technical support for AWS Cloud services to clients via phone, chat, and email.

• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues related to AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and others.

• Collaborate with senior engineers to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.

• Assist customers with cloud migration processes, optimizing AWS solutions, and recommending best practices.

• Document customer interactions and technical solutions for knowledge sharing and future reference.

• Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, features, and updates.

• Provide feedback on common issues or challenges faced by customers to help improve the overall support process.

• Monitor cloud infrastructure to ensure uptime and smooth operations.

• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve technical and customer service skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and familiarity with AWS services.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a focus on problem resolution.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, remote work environment.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.

• Familiarity with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.

• A technical background (degree or certification in IT, computer science, engineering, or related fields) is a plus.

Experience:

• No prior experience required; however, any hands-on experience or internships in cloud computing or IT support will be considered a bonus.

• Experience with AWS (even if through personal projects or certifications) will be an added advantage.

• Customer support experience, particularly in technical environments, will also be beneficial but is not mandatory.

Working Hours:

• This is a full-time remote position, with working hours that follow the US Central Time Zone (CST).

• Flexibility in working hours is available depending on the teams needs and coverage requirements.

• Occasional evening or weekend shifts may be required based on support demand.
