Job Summary:

Progressive Technology is seeking a dedicated and tech-savvy IT Helpdesk Executive to join our growing remote technical support team. As an integral part of our tech call center, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and internal teams, offering timely, efficient, and professional IT support. This remote role is ideal for someone with a passion for technology, strong problem-solving skills, and a customer-first mindset.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support via phone, chat, and email for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve user-reported problems in a timely manner.

  • Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level IT support or relevant departments when necessary.

  • Track and log support interactions using our ticketing system with accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Ensure timely follow-up with users and provide status updates for open issues.

  • Maintain knowledge base documentation and contribute to support resources.

  • Assist in onboarding new users by setting up accounts, systems, and software.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest IT helpdesk tools and practices.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).

  • Proficiency in Windows OS, MS Office Suite, and basic networking concepts.

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to troubleshoot common hardware/software issues.

  • Familiarity with remote desktop tools and help desk software.

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.


Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an IT Helpdesk, Technical Support, or similar customer service-based role.

  • Prior experience working in a call center or remote IT support environment is a plus.


Working Hours:

  • Full-Time | Rotational Shifts (24x7)
    (Shifts will be allocated based on business requirements and may include night or weekend shifts.)

  • Good analytical thinking and the ability to work under pressure.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and environments.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setup.
