Job Summary:

HR Service Jobs is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals for the position of Airlines Ground Staff at Bangalore Airport. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about aviation and committed to providing exceptional service to passengers. As Ground Staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of airline services, handling various customer service and operational responsibilities on the ground.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist passengers at the airport with check-in, boarding, and baggage processes.

• Ensure smooth coordination between different airline departments and airport authorities.

• Handle passenger inquiries and provide timely and accurate information related to flights, delays, or cancellations.

• Manage boarding gates, passenger queues, and seating arrangements.

• Assist passengers with special needs, including unaccompanied minors and passengers with reduced mobility.

• Verify travel documents, boarding passes, and IDs according to airline protocols.

• Maintain safety and security procedures in compliance with airport regulations.

• Resolve customer complaints or escalate issues to appropriate authorities.

• Coordinate with cabin crew and pilots for pre-flight briefings and documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum educational qualification: 10+2 or equivalent.

• Excellent communication skills in English and local language(s).

• Good interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Presentable appearance and a professional attitude.

• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with booking/reservation systems (preferred).

• Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.

Experience:

• Fresher or 0–2 years of experience in a customer service or aviation-related role.

• Previous experience in airport operations or hospitality will be an added advantage.

Working Hours:

• Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Shift timings are typically between 6 AM and 11 PM, based on airline schedules.

• Full-time position; part-time not available for this role.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of airport and airline operations.

• Understanding of safety and security regulations at the airport.

• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.

• Ability to remain calm and composed during high-pressure situations.

• Team-oriented with a proactive approach to work.
