Job Summary:

As a Shifting Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that the shifting processes are efficient and meet all operational requirements. You will work closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure a seamless operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing and tracking inventory during the shifting process.

• Ensure proper handling and timely delivery of goods between various departments.

• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to support the smooth shifting of inventory.

• Maintain accurate records of shifts, deliveries, and other logistical data.

• Follow company protocols to ensure safety and security during the shifting process.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address any issues or challenges related to inventory movement.

• Support the management team in operational tasks as needed.

• Participate in regular training sessions to stay up-to-date with Amazons logistics processes and policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and shifting inventory when necessary.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a logistics or warehouse environment is preferred but not mandatory.

• Experience in handling inventory management or working with fulfillment teams is an advantage.

• Familiarity with Amazons operations or similar e-commerce platforms will be considered a plus.

Working Hours:

• Full-time position with flexible working hours.

• The role may require shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on operational needs.

• Remote work is available; however, candidates must be available during core business hours in the local time zone.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new situations.

• Knowledge of basic logistics and inventory management processes.

• Ability to handle a high volume of data and prioritize tasks effectively.
