HR Service Jobs is seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Diesel Mechanic Apprentice to join our Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Training Program. Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior diesel mechanics in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty vehicles.

• Learn how to inspect engines, transmissions, brakes, steering mechanisms, and other vehicle systems.

• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid checks, and part replacements under supervision.

• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues.

• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with safety protocols.

• Participate in structured training sessions and on-the-job learning modules.

• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, productive shop environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training preferred.

• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and tools.

• Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.

• Must possess a valid drivers license.

Experience

• No prior diesel mechanic experience required.

Working Hours

• Full-time position (38–40 hours/week).

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Some overtime or weekend work may be required based on project needs).
