Job Summary:

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Frontend Developer with a strong foundation in HTML, CSS, and React. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the frontend architecture of web applications, ensuring smooth functionality and high performance.

• Collaborate with the UI/UX design team to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal user experience across different browsers and devices.

• Implement responsive design techniques to ensure applications are mobile-friendly.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions about architecture, features, and best practices.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and implement improvements and innovations.

• Work closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of reusable code libraries and frameworks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

• Solid experience with React.js and other modern frontend frameworks/libraries.

• Knowledge of frontend build tools and version control systems (Git, Webpack, NPM).

• Understanding of responsive web design principles and mobile-first development.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and AJAX.

• Ability to write clean, modular, and scalable code.

• Good understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

• Experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS is a plus.

• Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.) is an added advantage.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Experience:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in frontend development with HTML, CSS, and React.

• Proven track record of delivering frontend solutions for complex web applications.

• Experience with Agile development processes and tools like Jira or Trello.

• Previous work experience in creating web applications for both desktop and mobile devices is preferred.

Working Hours:

• Full-time position with standard working hours (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM), Monday through Friday.

• Occasional flexibility in working hours for project deadlines or collaboration with teams across different time zones.
