Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough nutritional assessments both remotely and on-site.

• Develop customized nutrition plans based on clients health needs, lifestyle, and goals.

• Monitor clients progress and adjust diet plans accordingly.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care plans.

• Educate clients and families on healthy eating habits and nutrition best practices.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.

• Participate in community wellness programs and health fairs as needed.

• Stay informed on the latest research and trends in nutrition and dietetics.

• Adhere to all healthcare regulations, standards, and ethical practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).

• Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required.

• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Indiana.

• Proficient with telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHR).

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Exceptional ability to motivate and educate clients.

• Organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a practicing dietitian in a clinical, community, or private practice setting.

• Previous experience with hybrid work environments (remote and on-site) is preferred.

• Experience in developing and implementing nutritional programs for a diverse population is an advantage.

Working Hours

• Flexible working hours with a combination of scheduled on-site appointments and remote consultations.

• Some weekend or evening availability may be required to meet client needs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Deep knowledge of nutrition science, therapeutic diets, and wellness coaching.

• Ability to create client-centered and culturally sensitive care plans.

• Adept at using nutritional analysis software and telehealth systems.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
