Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Business Analyst (Remote) to join our dynamic team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in driving business improvements, interpreting data trends, and recommending impactful changes that enhance operational efficiency and align with company goals. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas for improvement

• Gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications

• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and project managers to design and implement solutions

• Conduct market and competitor analysis to provide actionable insights

• Support project planning, testing, implementation, and change management efforts

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on business trends

• Create detailed business analysis reports and presentations for leadership teams

• Provide strategic recommendations based on data-driven analysis

• Assist with quality assurance and user acceptance testing (UAT)

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

• Familiarity with business analysis frameworks and methodologies (e.g., SWOT, PESTLE, Agile)

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Experience

• Minimum 2–4 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role

• Experience in remote working environments is preferred

• Proven experience with requirements gathering, data modeling, and business process mapping

Working Hours

• Full-time remote position

• Flexible working hours with availability for core business hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST)

• Occasional meetings in different time zones may be required

• Strong understanding of business structures and project life cycles

• Ability to synthesize complex information into clear and actionable insights

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving

• Comfort with collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, JIRA, and Confluence
