Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking a skilled and motivated IT Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and processes.

• Conduct feasibility studies and impact analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.

• Translate business requirements into clear and actionable technical specifications for development teams.

• Facilitate communication between stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to ensure alignment and project success.

• Participate in solution design, testing, and validation phases to ensure deliverables meet business needs.

• Monitor project progress and assist in managing scope changes, risks, and issues.

• Provide ongoing support and training to end-users as necessary.

• Maintain thorough documentation including requirements, workflows, and user guides.

• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to propose innovative solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in IT projects, preferably in software development or system implementation.

• Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and Agile frameworks.

• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in requirement gathering techniques such as interviews, workshops, and document analysis.

• Skilled in creating process flow diagrams, user stories, and use cases.

• Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, and requirements management software.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a related role.

• Experience in handling end-to-end business analysis for medium to large-scale IT projects.

• Prior exposure to Agile/Scrum project environments is highly desirable.

• Industry-specific experience (e.g., finance, healthcare, retail) is a plus.

Working Hours

• Full-time position.

• Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

• Flexibility may be required during critical project phases or deadlines.
