Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Newsletter Creator with hands-on experience in platforms like Substack, Mailchimp, ConvertKit, or other email marketing tools. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting visually appealing, engaging, and high-converting newsletters that resonate with our tech-savvy and professional audience. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and send regular newsletters using Substack or preferred email marketing tools.

• Collaborate with content writers, marketers, and designers to create compelling email campaigns.

• Write persuasive subject lines, preview text, and email body copy that aligns with brand voice.

• Segment email lists and personalize content to improve open rates and click-throughs.

• Optimize email templates for mobile and desktop.

• Monitor campaign performance and generate performance reports (open rates, click rates, unsubscribe rates).

• Stay up-to-date with best practices in email marketing, privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR), and anti-spam laws.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency with Substack, Mailchimp, ConvertKit, MailerLite, or similar email tools.

• Excellent written English and strong editing skills.

• Basic understanding of email marketing metrics and KPIs.

• Familiarity with design tools like Canva or Figma is a plus.

• Ability to follow brand guidelines and tone-of-voice requirements.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Self-starter with the ability to meet deadlines without micromanagement.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in newsletter creation, content writing, or email marketing.

• Portfolio of past newsletters, email campaigns, or content publications will be required.

Working Hours

• Flexible scheduling – work from anywhere at your own pace.

• Expected 10–25 hours per week depending on project volume.

• Must be available for weekly check-ins and content planning meetings.
