Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking talented and versatile Voice Over Artists to collaborate on a freelance basis for a wide range of projects including e-learning videos, audiobooks, explainer content, YouTube narrations, promotional clips, and regional campaigns. Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality voice recordings for various digital media formats (videos, ads, tutorials, etc.).

• Interpret scripts with attention to clarity, tone, emotion, and pronunciation.

• Ensure proper pacing, breath control, and modulation to suit the projects needs.

• Collaborate with scriptwriters, producers, and editors for revisions or direction.

• Deliver clean, edited, and professionally recorded audio files within agreed deadlines.

• Maintain consistency in tone and delivery across multi-part or series-based content.

• Take feedback constructively and offer retakes when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Hindi, English, or any Indian regional language (e.g., Tamil, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Malayalam, etc.).

• Excellent voice clarity, articulation, and control.

• Basic knowledge of audio recording techniques and file formats.

• Access to a quiet space and home recording setup (microphone, headphones, basic software).

• Ability to understand and follow briefs, deadlines, and technical requirements.

• Clear understanding of tone, audience, and delivery style as per content type.

Experience

• Prior experience in voice-over projects is preferred but not mandatory.

• Freshers with a confident and impressive voice demo are highly encouraged to apply.

• Experience in acting, theatre, radio, or podcasting will be an added advantage.

Working Hours

• Flexible: Work on a project basis as per availability and deadlines.

• You choose your hours and can work from any location with good recording conditions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to switch between tones (formal, conversational, narrative, energetic, etc.) based on the script.

• Willingness to accept creative feedback and direction.

• Familiarity with tools like Audacity, Adobe Audition, or GarageBand is a plus.

• Strong time management and self-discipline for meeting submission deadlines.
