Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is seeking passionate and engaging Online English Tutors to deliver conversational English lessons to learners from diverse backgrounds. As a remote tutor, you will help students enhance their speaking fluency, vocabulary, pronunciation, and confidence in real-life conversational settings. This role is ideal for individuals who love teaching and want the flexibility of working from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct 1-on-1 or small group conversational English sessions online via video platforms.

• Guide learners through structured conversation topics, daily speaking practice, and spontaneous dialogue.

• Encourage participation and correct language use in a constructive, supportive manner.

• Provide instant and post-session feedback to improve learners pronunciation and vocabulary.

• Track student progress and adjust lessons to suit individual needs and proficiency levels.

• Maintain a friendly, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.

• Prepare brief session reports and suggest additional practice exercises when needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient or native-level fluency in English (both spoken and written).

• Bachelors degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or any discipline (preferred but not mandatory).

• TEFL, TESOL, CELTA certification or relevant English teaching experience (preferred).

• Comfortable using video conferencing tools such as Zoom, Skype, or Google Meet.

• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

• Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping others learn.

Experience

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience (formal or informal).

• Freshers with excellent English communication skills and confidence in public speaking are also encouraged to apply.

Working Hours

• Flexible scheduling based on your availability.

• Peak demand during evenings, weekends, and early mornings (based on student time zones).

• Minimum commitment of 10–15 hours per week preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of common language learning challenges for ESL students.

• Ability to adapt conversational topics to suit learners levels and interests.

• Time management and organizational skills to conduct consistent, punctual sessions.

• Sensitivity to cultural differences and openness to global perspectives.
