Job Summary

MNC Jobs Info is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Remote QA Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Java and Selenium to join our fast-paced, global technology team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the design, development, and execution of automated test scripts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to identify defects early in the development lifecycle, contributing to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automation test frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and manual testers to understand project requirements and ensure full test coverage.

• Create and execute automated test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.

• Identify, document, and track bugs in Jira or other defect tracking systems.

• Analyze test results, generate quality metrics, and report on software quality trends.

• Participate in code reviews, planning sessions, and daily stand-ups as part of an Agile development team.

• Continuously explore and implement best practices and new technologies in test automation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Java programming.

• Solid experience with Selenium WebDriver for browser automation.

• Familiarity with TestNG, JUnit, or similar test frameworks.

• Working knowledge of version control systems like Git.

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Hands-on experience with REST API testing and tools such as Postman or RestAssured.

• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience in automation testing with Java and Selenium.

• Experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks from scratch.

• Prior experience working in a distributed or fully remote team environment is a plus.

Working Hours

• Flexible working hours with a focus on deliverables and team collaboration.

• Expected availability during core team hours (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM IST), Monday to Friday.

• Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and QA best practices.

• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

• A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail.

• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote setup.
