Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement load, stress, scalability, and endurance test strategies.

• Develop performance testing scripts using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.

• Execute performance tests and analyze results to identify system bottlenecks and limitations.

• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product managers to fine-tune application performance.

• Create detailed reports with findings, metrics, and recommendations for performance optimization.

• Monitor and validate application responsiveness, reliability, and stability under varying load conditions.

• Develop automation frameworks for continuous performance testing in CI/CD pipelines.

• Stay current with industry trends and emerging performance testing tools and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Strong proficiency in performance testing tools such as Apache JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, or similar.

• Solid understanding of software performance concepts including latency, throughput, and resource utilization.

• Experience in writing performance test scripts in Java, Python, or Groovy.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, New Relic, AppDynamics).

• Knowledge of HTTP/S, Web Services (REST/SOAP), TCP/IP, and web architectures.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and trends.

Experience

• 3–5 years of proven experience as a Performance QA Engineer or similar role.

• Hands-on experience with end-to-end performance testing in cloud-native or microservices environments.

• Prior exposure to Agile/Scrum development lifecycle.

Working Hours

• Full-Time | Flexible Remote Schedule

• Core Collaboration Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM IST (adjustable based on project needs)

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.

• Ability to work independently in a fully remote setup.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools, frameworks, and environments.
