Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Vue.js Developer to join our dynamic remote development team. As a JavaScript Framework Expert, you will be responsible for building and optimizing responsive, feature-rich front-end web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Vue.js and experience with modern development practices, working closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and project managers to deliver cutting-edge web solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user-facing features using Vue.js

• Optimize components for maximum performance across a range of web-capable devices and browsers

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers and backend developers to create seamless user experiences

• Translate UI/UX wireframes into high-quality, scalable code

• Implement and manage state management libraries such as Vuex or Pinia

• Conduct code reviews and maintain high-quality coding standards

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and suggest improvements

• Debug and resolve performance bottlenecks, compatibility issues, and general bugs

• Stay updated with emerging trends in web technologies and frameworks

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Vue.js (2.x/3.x)

• Deep understanding of Vue CLI, Vue Router, and Vuex/Pinia

• Solid experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling

• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS, and responsive design principles

• Proficiency in Git and modern development workflows (CI/CD, Agile/Scrum)

• Experience with front-end testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha

• Familiarity with webpack or other module bundlers

Experience

• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in front-end development

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience specifically with Vue.js

• Proven track record of building scalable, high-performance web applications

Working Hours

• Flexible working hours with overlap required during core team collaboration hours (10:00 AM to 6:00 PM IST)

• Monday to Friday (Full-time), with occasional weekend availability for critical deployments or bug fixes

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities in a remote environment

• Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision

• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced agile workflow

• Familiarity with UI design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD) is a plus

• Experience with other JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular) is a bonus
