Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Fullstack Developer with expertise in Angular and Node.js to join our dynamic remote development team. In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable web applications and delivering high-performance, clean, and maintainable code across the full stack. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Angular (front-end) and Node.js (back-end).

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers to create responsive and intuitive user interfaces.

• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code with an emphasis on performance and scalability.

• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services to deliver seamless front-end and back-end functionality.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues, optimize application performance, and improve overall system architecture.

• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and regular team standups to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.

• Maintain clear documentation of development processes, architecture, and APIs.

• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in web development and software engineering.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in Angular 10+ (TypeScript) and hands-on experience developing SPAs.

• Solid experience with Node.js and Express.js for server-side development.

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and event-driven architecture.

• Experience working with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or other relational and NoSQL databases.

• Familiarity with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, Mocha, or Jest.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for remote collaboration.

Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Fullstack Developer.

• Proven track record of delivering complex web applications using Angular and Node.js.

• Experience working in agile development environments is a plus.

Working Hours

• Flexible working hours with a commitment to core collaboration windows (e.g., 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM IST).

• Monday to Friday schedule; occasional weekend availability for deployment support may be required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Deep understanding of front-end architecture and best practices for web development.

• Proficient in API integration, authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT), and session management.

• Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices such as Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is advantageous.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.

• High adaptability to new tools, frameworks, and evolving technologies.
