SysTechCare Support is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our Onsite Infrastructure Team. This role is critical to maintaining the performance, scalability, and reliability of our enterprise systems. As an SRE, you will bridge the gap between development and operations by applying software engineering principles to infrastructure and operations problems. Your mission is to automate processes, eliminate toil, and ensure our systems are robust, resilient, and efficient.
Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure systems.
Develop automation tools and frameworks to reduce manual operations.
Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using modern observability tools.
Participate in on-call rotation and incident response, ensuring rapid resolution and root cause analysis.
Collaborate with software engineers and DevOps to optimize system architecture and deployment pipelines.
Create and maintain runbooks, documentation, and service-level indicators (SLIs/SLAs/SLOs).
Continuously identify system bottlenecks and proactively implement improvements.
Enforce infrastructure security best practices and compliance standards.
Contribute to capacity planning, disaster recovery strategies, and performance tuning.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proficient in Linux/Unix system administration and scripting (Python, Bash, or similar).
Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containers (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Solid understanding of networking, load balancing, DNS, and firewall configurations.
Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK stack.
Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.
Proven track record in managing production systems and implementing scalable infrastructure solutions.
Full-Time, Onsite
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Occasional availability for weekend or after-hours incident support as part of the on-call schedule.
Ability to manage complex infrastructure at scale in high-availability environments.
Strong analytical mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and solving issues.
Passion for automation, performance tuning, and process improvement.
Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO, SOC2) is a plus.
Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
