Job Summary

SysTechCare Support is looking for a skilled and passionate Android App Developer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Android applications. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about mobile technologies and can work independently as well as part of a collaborative cross-functional team to deliver innovative digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers to define, design, and ship new features.

• Integrate APIs and work with third-party libraries and RESTful web services.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.

• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance and responsiveness.

• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team planning sessions.

• Ensure security, quality, and performance of the applications developed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.

• In-depth understanding of the Android SDK and Android architecture components.

• Familiarity with Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.

• Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON data handling.

• Knowledge of Android Studio, Gradle, Git, and version control tools.

• Familiarity with Firebase, Room database, Jetpack libraries, or similar tools.

• Understanding of software design patterns like MVVM, MVP, etc.

Experience

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Android application development.

• Portfolio or live apps on the Play Store will be highly advantageous.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.

Working Hours

• Full-Time Position

• Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM (IST)

• Flexible hours or remote options may be considered based on performance and project requirements.
