SysTechCare Support is seeking a passionate and experienced Robotics Software Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-tech, agile environment and has a strong foundation in robotics algorithms, control systems, real-time software, and sensor integration. You will be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying cutting-edge robotics solutions for industrial, healthcare, and automation applications.
Design, develop, and implement software for robotic systems including motion planning, perception, and control.
Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of software with robotic components.
Work with sensor data (LIDAR, IMU, cameras) and apply algorithms for SLAM, object detection, path planning, and obstacle avoidance.
Write clean, scalable, and high-performance code in C++, Python, or ROS (Robot Operating System).
Conduct simulations, field testing, and debugging to ensure robust and reliable robot performance.
Participate in design reviews, contribute to documentation, and maintain code repositories using Git.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in robotics, machine learning, and embedded systems.
Support product lifecycle from prototype to production, ensuring system performance and reliability.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Strong programming experience in C++, Python, and ROS.
Solid understanding of robotic kinematics, dynamics, control theory, and real-time systems.
Experience with Linux-based development environments.
Hands-on experience with perception libraries (OpenCV, PCL) and robotic simulators (Gazebo, Webots, V-REP).
Familiarity with integration of sensors like LIDAR, camera modules, ultrasonic, and encoders.
Knowledge of version control tools (Git/GitHub) and CI/CD practices.
2–5 years of professional experience in robotics software development.
Proven track record of delivering functional robotic systems or automation solutions.
Internship or project experience with autonomous systems, robotics research, or hardware integration will be a plus.
Full-time position: 40 hours/week
Flexible working hours with core collaboration between 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM IST
Occasional travel may be required for testing and deployment at client locations
