Job Summary

SysTechCare Support is seeking a highly organized and results-driven Software Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of cutting-edge software projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical knowledge and a proactive approach to project lifecycle management. You will play a critical role in aligning software development with business goals, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes for internal and client-facing applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of software development projects, from initiation to delivery and maintenance.

• Collaborate with product owners, developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including schedules, risk assessments, and resource allocations.

• Monitor and track project progress using Agile/Scrum or Waterfall methodologies, depending on project requirements.

• Conduct regular status meetings and provide transparent reporting to leadership and stakeholders.

• Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays or quality issues.

• Ensure software deliverables meet business and quality standards, and manage client expectations.

• Coordinate software releases, testing phases, and deployment with DevOps or IT teams.

• Lead project retrospectives and contribute to process improvements for future projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

• PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification preferred.

• Strong knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), project planning, and risk management.

• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, or Microsoft Project.

• Solid understanding of both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.

• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Ability to translate technical language into business terms and vice versa.

• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to multitask in fast-paced environments.

Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in project management within a software development or IT environment.

• Proven track record of successfully managing software projects on time and within budget.

• Experience working with distributed or remote teams is a plus.

• Background in software development or engineering is highly advantageous.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Flexible Hours Available)

• Occasional evening or weekend work may be required based on project timelines or client locations.
