Key Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently process prescription requests from patients, doctors, and insurance providers.

• Assist pharmacists in verifying, packaging, and preparing medications for shipment.

• Handle inbound and outbound calls related to prescription refills, order status, and medication inquiries.

• Ensure that all data is recorded accurately and confidentially in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

• Contact physicians or providers for prescription clarification when necessary.

• Maintain compliance with federal and state pharmacy regulations.

• Provide compassionate and professional service to patients in every interaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.

• Active Pharmacy Technician license/certification as per state regulations.

• Proficiency in using pharmacy software systems and tools.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.

• Comfortable using technology and navigating digital platforms.

Experience

• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician (retail, hospital, or mail order setting preferred).

• Previous experience with CVS Health systems or similar pharmacy platforms is a plus.

• Remote work experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Working Hours

• Flexible work schedule; shifts may vary depending on department needs.
