Amazon is looking for a results-driven, dynamic, and experienced Operations Manager to lead, manage, and develop a team within one of our fast-paced fulfillment centers. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the warehouse floor, ensuring on-time order processing, inventory accuracy, and delivery excellence. You will work directly with team leads, associates, and senior leadership to drive performance, productivity, and safety standards across shifts.
Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, pick, pack, and shipping functions.
Lead, train, and manage a team of Area Managers, Process Assistants, and warehouse associates.
Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to ensure performance targets are consistently met or exceeded.
Identify and eliminate barriers to productivity, quality, and safety.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Amazons operational excellence principles.
Conduct performance reviews, team development sessions, and support career progression for team members.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations and Amazons compliance standards.
Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments (HR, IT, Finance) to streamline operations and solve complex logistics challenges.
Respond effectively to operational escalations and customer-impacting issues.
Bachelors degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong leadership and people management skills with experience in team development.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in data analysis and operational reporting tools (Excel, SQL, or similar).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in operations management, supply chain, logistics, or warehouse leadership.
Prior experience in team supervision, performance coaching, and process improvement.
Proven track record of meeting KPIs and managing large-scale warehouse operations is highly preferred.
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies is a plus.
Full-Time Position
Must be flexible to work across day, evening, and night shifts, including weekends or holidays as required.
Typical schedule includes 8–10 hour shifts, depending on operational needs.
Deep understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage, inspire, and influence teams.
