IndiGo Airlines is seeking dedicated and technically inclined individuals for the position of Junior Technician (Airframe & Composite - A&C) within our Engineering & Maintenance division. This entry-level role is integral to ensuring the safety, reliability, and airworthiness of our aircraft. As a Junior Technician (A&C), you will work closely with experienced maintenance teams to perform inspections, carry out routine and non-routine maintenance activities, and support engineering operations in compliance with DGCA regulations and IndiGos high operational standards.
Assist in performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on aircraft components related to airframe and composite structures.
Carry out basic inspections under supervision and record findings in maintenance logs.
Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and calibrated as per industry guidelines.
Support defect rectification tasks and ensure compliance with Maintenance Manual procedures.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and orderliness of the hangar, tools, and work area.
Coordinate with supervisors and engineers for parts requisition and job card closures.
Follow all safety protocols, SOPs, and regulatory compliance requirements laid down by DGCA and IndiGo.
Participate in on-the-job training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in aircraft maintenance.
Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) from DGCA-approved institute
Valid A&C Paper 1 and Paper 2 (preference will be given to those holding these certifications)
Basic understanding of aviation maintenance practices and safety protocols
Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
Ability to interpret technical manuals and engineering drawings
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with maintenance tracking software
Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in aviation maintenance or similar technical roles.
Internship or OJT experience in airline or MRO environments is an added advantage.
Rotational Shifts including Night, Weekend, and Holiday shifts
6 Days Working | Weekly Off Based on Shift Roster
On-site presence at Airport Hangar or Line Maintenance Bays
Knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance procedures (A&C discipline)
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict timelines
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in teams
Commitment to learning and complying with IndiGos maintenance standards
Familiarity with DGCA CAR 145 regulations and safety policies
