Job Summary:

IndiGo Airlines is looking for dedicated and vigilant Ground Staff professionals to join our Airport Operations & Customer Service (AO&CS) division as Security & Passenger Compliance Officers. This role is vital in ensuring the safe and secure movement of passengers through the airport. You will play a key part in implementing aviation security protocols, screening passengers and baggage, and maintaining full compliance with DGCA and BCAS regulations, while delivering courteous and professional service at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform passenger profiling, baggage screening, and access control as per BCAS guidelines.

• Monitor and ensure adherence to airport and airline security protocols.

• Verify travel documents (passports, visas, boarding passes) for validity and authenticity.

• Handle secondary checks and resolve any passenger queries related to security.

• Coordinate with CISF, airport authorities, and internal security teams for seamless operations.

• Escort unaccompanied minors, special needs passengers, or high-risk individuals as necessary.

• Maintain accurate records of daily operations, incidents, and compliance reports.

• Assist in emergency response and evacuation procedures, if required.

• Uphold IndiGos customer service standards while balancing firm security enforcement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum qualification: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) from a recognized board.

• Certification in Basic AVSEC (Aviation Security) will be a strong advantage.

• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Hindi.

• Good physical fitness, alertness, and attention to detail.

• Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.

• Willingness to undergo mandatory security training and airport clearance checks.

Experience:

• Fresher candidates with strong aptitude and interest in aviation security are welcome.

• Prior experience (0–2 years) in ground operations, aviation security, or customer service will be preferred.

Working Hours:

• Rotational shifts including weekends, holidays, and night shifts.

• 6-day work week with shift durations of 8–10 hours depending on operational needs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of airport security procedures and BCAS/DGCA regulations.

• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.

• Tech-savvy with the ability to operate security scanning equipment.

• Quick decision-making and sound judgment in high-pressure situations.

• Respect for passenger privacy while enforcing necessary checks.
