Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is actively seeking skilled and motivated Packaging Machine Operators to join our clients fast-paced manufacturing and production facility. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with hands-on machine operation experience who are looking to relocate and build a stable career with visa sponsorship support. You will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining packaging machinery to ensure efficient and quality production aligned with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust automatic and semi-automatic packaging machinery.

• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.

• Inspect packaged products to ensure compliance with company and regulatory quality standards.

• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts.

• Maintain accurate records of machine performance, output, and maintenance activities.

• Follow health and safety guidelines and ensure safe working conditions.

• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and quality control staff to meet production targets.

• Report malfunctions or equipment faults to the maintenance team immediately.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Technical training or certification in machinery operation is a plus.

• Proven ability to operate and maintain packaging equipment.

• Understanding of production metrics, safety regulations, and quality control.

• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial tools.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to follow detailed instructions with high attention to accuracy.

Experience

• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or packaging facility operating machinery.

• Prior experience working with high-speed packaging lines is highly desirable.

• Experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or FMCG sectors will be an advantage.

Working Hours

• Full-time role.

• Rotational shifts: Day/Night shifts (8–12 hours depending on operational needs).

• Overtime and weekend shifts may be required during peak production periods.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of health and safety practices in an industrial environment.

• Ability to read and interpret machinery manuals, production instructions, and safety procedures.

• Manual dexterity and physical stamina to stand, lift, and move products for extended hours.

• Time management skills and ability to meet production deadlines.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and equipment.
