Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking enthusiastic and service-oriented individuals to join as Airline Ground Staff for major airlines including Indigo and Air India. As a Ground Staff member, you will be the face of the airline, responsible for delivering a seamless and pleasant experience to passengers both on and off the ground. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about aviation, hospitality, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist passengers at check-in counters, boarding gates, and arrival terminals.

• Verify travel documents, issue boarding passes, and provide flight-related information.

• Assist passengers with special needs, including unaccompanied minors and those requiring wheelchair services.

• Handle baggage-related queries and coordinate with security and logistics teams.

• Maintain safety, order, and cleanliness in passenger service areas.

• Coordinate with flight crew, ground security, and airline management to ensure timely operations.

• Manage delays, cancellations, and rerouting processes professionally and efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 10+2 (Higher Secondary) pass from a recognized board.

• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi (additional regional languages are a plus).

• Well-groomed appearance and professional behavior.

• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, reservation systems preferred).

• Customer-first attitude with problem-solving capabilities.

• Physically fit and able to work on shifts, including standing for extended hours.

Experience

• Freshers are welcome and encouraged to apply.

• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or airport operations is an added advantage.

Working Hours

• Rotational shifts based on airline schedule (including weekends and public holidays).

• Shifts may vary between morning, evening, and night (6 to 8 hours per shift).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Sound understanding of airline/airport procedures and passenger handling (training provided for freshers).

• Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-player attitude.

• Knowledge of ticketing/reservation software is a bonus (e.g., Galileo, Amadeus, Sabre).
