Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is hiring a skilled and detail-oriented X-Ray Technician to join a reputed private diagnostic center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing radiographic procedures as prescribed by physicians, ensuring patient safety, maintaining imaging equipment, and delivering high-quality diagnostic images. Key Responsibilities

• Operate X-ray equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images as per physician instructions.

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, including explaining the process and ensuring proper positioning.

• Follow established radiation safety procedures to protect patients, self, and other personnel.

• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal functioning.

• Maintain accurate patient records, including documentation of procedures and image findings.

• Work closely with radiologists and physicians to ensure accurate diagnostics.

• Monitor supply inventory and ensure cleanliness and sterilization of imaging rooms.

• Comply with all clinical protocols and uphold high standards of patient care.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma in Radiology/X-Ray Technology or equivalent qualification from a recognized institute.

• Valid certification or registration with appropriate medical/radiology boards (as per state/local requirements).

• Proficient in using digital X-ray equipment and understanding of radiographic techniques.

• Knowledge of safety and quality control procedures in a diagnostic setting.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills to handle patients professionally.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision and make decisions quickly in emergency situations.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience working as an X-Ray Technician in a hospital or diagnostic center.

• Freshers with relevant diploma and internship experience may also be considered based on aptitude and practical knowledge.

Working Hours

• Full-time position

• Shift-based schedule, including morning and evening shifts.

• Occasional weekend or holiday work may be required based on patient appointments and diagnostic needs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• In-depth knowledge of radiographic anatomy and physiology.

• Familiarity with medical terminology and patient management.

• Strong understanding of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques.

• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
