Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Chartered Accountancy (CA) Intern to join our Front-End Investment Banking (Global Banking) Team. This internship is designed to provide aspiring finance professionals with hands-on experience in financial modeling, valuation, capital market research, and client-facing investment banking activities. As an intern, you will work closely with experienced bankers, gaining insights into mergers & acquisitions (M&A), equity & debt capital raising, and cross-border transactions. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build a career in investment banking with exposure to global financial markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial models, pitch books, and investor presentations for ongoing transactions.

• Conduct industry and company research to support M&A and capital market activities.

• Support the analysis of financial statements, valuations, and due diligence processes.

• Assist senior analysts and associates in preparing client-facing documents and market analysis reports.

• Monitor global financial market trends and provide insights for investment strategies.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline project execution and support transaction closures.

• Maintain high accuracy and confidentiality while handling sensitive financial data.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Currently pursuing CA (Intermediate or Final) with a strong interest in investment banking and global finance.

• Strong knowledge of financial analysis, accounting principles, and valuation techniques.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling is required.

• Good understanding of investment banking concepts, M&A, and capital markets.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Experience

• Fresher or 0-1 year of relevant experience in finance, investment banking, or consulting.

• Internship experience in financial analysis or corporate finance is a plus.

Working Hours

• Flexible internship schedule with a minimum commitment of 20-30 hours per week.

• Working hours may occasionally align with global market timings depending on projects.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong financial acumen with a keen eye for details and accuracy.

• Ability to interpret financial data and prepare analytical reports.

• Exposure to Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or other financial tools is an advantage.
