Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Plumbing Assistant to support our plumbing team in residential and commercial construction projects. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the construction field while assisting licensed plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. You will be part of a dynamic team, contributing to high-quality projects and ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems.

• Prepare and organize tools, equipment, and materials needed for each job.

• Carry out basic plumbing tasks under supervision such as cutting, measuring, and assembling pipe sections.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment on-site.

• Help in troubleshooting plumbing issues and reporting findings to supervisors.

• Adhere to company safety policies and OSHA construction site safety requirements.

• Load and unload equipment, materials, and supplies as needed.

• Provide general support to the construction team to ensure project deadlines are met.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Basic understanding of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.

• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to follow instructions and work under the supervision of experienced plumbers.

Experience

Working Hours

• Full-time position.

• Standard working hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Saturday.

• Overtime or weekend work may be required depending on project schedules.
