Job Summary:

MNC JOBS INFO is seeking a skilled Waterproofing Technician to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will specialize in applying and maintaining waterproofing systems for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. This role ensures that structures are protected against water infiltration, leaks, and moisture-related damage, thereby enhancing building longevity and quality. The Waterproofing Technician will work closely with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply waterproofing solutions to roofs, walls, basements, and other building structures.

• Prepare surfaces, including cleaning, repairing, and priming areas before waterproofing.

• Inspect building areas for signs of water damage, leaks, or structural weaknesses.

• Select and apply appropriate waterproofing materials, such as membranes, coatings, sealants, and admixtures.

• Ensure all work meets safety standards, building codes, and project specifications.

• Maintain and manage tools, equipment, and materials efficiently.

• Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to schedule work and report progress.

• Provide technical advice on waterproofing solutions for new and ongoing projects.

• Keep detailed records of completed work, materials used, and any issues encountered.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in construction or waterproofing preferred.

• Strong knowledge of waterproofing materials, methods, and building codes.

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, diagrams, and technical manuals.

• Proficient in using waterproofing tools and equipment safely and efficiently.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Physical stamina to handle on-site construction work, including lifting and standing for long periods.

Experience:

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in waterproofing or related construction trades.

• Proven track record of successfully completed waterproofing projects.

• Experience with multiple waterproofing systems, including liquid-applied membranes, sheet membranes, and cementitious coatings, is highly desirable.

Working Hours:

• Full-time, typically 8–10 hours per day, Monday to Saturday.

• Flexibility to work extended hours if project deadlines require.

• On-site work at construction locations with occasional travel to multiple project sites.

• Strong understanding of water infiltration issues and prevention techniques.
