We are seeking a highly skilled Gas Turbine Specialist to join our Global Power Plant On-Site Services team. This role involves providing expert-level technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for gas turbines at power generation facilities worldwide. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of gas turbine operations, field service experience, and the ability to ensure optimal performance and reliability of equipment under strict safety and compliance standards.
Perform installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of gas turbines at client power plants.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and operational issues related to gas turbine systems.
Lead or assist with turbine overhauls, upgrades, and component replacements.
Prepare detailed service reports, documenting inspections, repairs, and recommendations.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all on-site activities.
Provide technical guidance and training to on-site teams and junior technicians.
Collaborate with engineering teams to identify design improvements and enhance turbine efficiency.
Manage and maintain specialized tools, instruments, and spare parts inventory.
Support emergency service calls and respond promptly to unplanned outages globally.
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Power Plant Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.
Strong knowledge of gas turbine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.
Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and OEM manuals.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in challenging environments.
Strong communication and leadership skills to manage on-site teams effectively.
Ability to travel internationally and work in remote or industrial environments.
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in gas turbine maintenance and field services.
Prior experience with major OEMs (GE, Siemens, Mitsubishi, etc.) is highly desirable.
Experience in commissioning, outage management, and turbine diagnostics is preferred.
Full-time position with flexible working hours based on project schedules.
Must be available for extended international travel and on-call support during outages or critical maintenance windows.
Expertise in thermodynamic principles and gas turbine technology.
Ability to perform precision measurements and alignment using advanced tools.
