Job Summary

FedEx is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Gateway Operations Representative – Global Supply Chain to support critical logistics and gateway operations within our global network. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth movement of international shipments by coordinating documentation, compliance, customs processes, and operational activities at gateway locations. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining FedExs high standards for speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction across global supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily gateway operations related to international inbound and outbound shipments.

• Monitor shipment flow to ensure timely processing, clearance, and movement through global gateways.

• Prepare, verify, and process shipping, customs, and regulatory documentation in compliance with international trade laws.

• Liaise with customs authorities, brokers, internal teams, and external partners to resolve clearance or transit issues.

• Track shipments using internal systems and proactively address delays, discrepancies, or exceptions.

• Ensure compliance with FedEx operational procedures, safety standards, and global supply chain policies.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.

• Provide accurate status updates and operational reports to management and internal stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of logistics, freight forwarding, or global supply chain operations.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in computer applications, logistics systems, and data entry tools.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and multicultural teams.

• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under time constraints.

Experience

• Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, gateway operations, or international shipping is preferred.

• Experience working with customs documentation, import/export regulations, or trade compliance is an advantage.

• Fresh graduates with relevant education and a strong interest in global supply chain operations may also be considered.

Working Hours

• Flexible shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on gateway operational requirements.

• Willingness to work in a 24/7 operational environment as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of international shipping processes, Incoterms, and customs clearance procedures.

• Ability to interpret regulations and operational guidelines accurately.
